Les Goldberg, President of CMFC, earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College in Washington , PA. He has completed an extensive list of continuing education courses on specialized areas including complex mortgage transactions, analyzing investment opportunities, income property management, servicing the loan, construction lending, structuring financial packages and financing real estate properties. 
Prior to establishing Commercial Mortgage Financing, Les started working as the general manager of a real estate development and brokerage company in Gladstone, N.J. From the Northeast, he moved to Florida and established Financial Funding Resources, Inc. in Boca Raton, in 1986.
In January of 2002, Financial Funding Resources was sold to a large mortgage banking firm in Chicago, Cohen Financial. He continued to work for Cohen until his family’s relocation to Stowe, Vermont. During his tenure with Financial Funding he started a development company which developed a Publix Shopping Center in Gainesville, FL, and a class “A” office building in Boca Raton, FL.
To date, Les has financed over $3 Billion in loan transactions. His extensive background, on-going education and professional experiences within the mortgage banking, real estate brokerage, property management, and developmental fields, offers CMFC clients a broad understanding of all facets and opporutnities available for commercial real estate financing.
Karin McChesney, is CMFC's Closing Administrator. Prior to Commercial Mortgage Financing, Karin worked at WCS Lending in Boca Raton, FL. Karin was the Manager of the Commercial Mortgage Department and worked with the loan  officers underwriting their transactions and worked directly with the Lenders. Karin was responsible for preparation of all departmental reports. Before WCS, Karin worked for Financial Funding Resources, Inc. / Cohen Financial from 1986 – 2006. Karin managed the Servicing Department and was responsible for site inspections, insurance and real estate tax reviews and income and expense reviews. Karin was also the Closing Manager and handled all of the closings, working directly with the Client, Lender and Attorney’s to insure a timely closing process. She has 28 years of experience in closings, servicing and loan administration.
